A Few Reference Points for Countering Racism, by Jean Hénaire

Summary

The ability exhibited by schools to bring discrimination to a halt is increasingly documented. For example, we know that specific programmes and actions to make pupils internalise and reflect upon the threat of racism and xenophobia are being developed throughout the world in general. We can also observe that certain teaching models lend themselves better than others to exposing pupils to different cultures. This has especially been proved through teaching history.
