The Participation of the Cree Native-American Tribe of Quebec in the Development of Democracy, by André Jacob

Summary

According to the author, nationalism of indigenous peoples is giving rise to a new situation in several countries. Large multinational companies thought that occupying indigenous territories in order to exploit the natural resources would remain unchecked. However, André Jacob highlights that the situation is changing. Thus, despite the tacit or explicit cooperation with numerous governments, these hunters of new resources are increasingly meeting resistance on the way.
