A New International Economic Order, Development and Globalisation – A Deadlocked Assertion, by Driss Dadsi
The development of a collection of human rights is closely tied to the evolution of societies, Nation-States and nowadays, international institutions and the international system in general, according to the interplay ignited by the law of contradiction, which is also a propeller of history. As this evolution continued, new categories of human rights were compiled on top of the older ones. This movement can be viewed as an answer to issues brought about by socio-economical, political, legal and specific cultural situations which left their mark on the past 50 years on a world as well as a State level in specific, historical contexts.
