Theodor W. Adorno’s phrase leaves room for little doubt. In fact, it is the only question being asked in the 20th century: “How do we educate after what happened at Auschwitz?” Perhaps this is not the only question, but it is a fundamental question because it calls into question the philosophy upon which education was founded until today.
