Educational Reform in an International Context: Intentions and Ambiguities, by Lynn Davies
Summary
In the light of the educational policies of OECD member countries as well as those of developing countries, the author proposes a reflective framework with a view to analyse the possible effects of these reforms on human rights and democracy. Beyond the official rhetoric, the author raises the question of the real challenges at issue and attempts to reveal their potential consequences on life at school and the participating actors.
