This session revisits a recurring theme that reminds us that the notions of development, democracy and human rights are still relevant today. Confronted with over a century of predatory development as well as the drive to make profits, our societies can no longer remain silent or turn a blind eye . Various paths are opening up in order to create a more humane present and future for the world.
