19th International Training session

Geneva, 8 - 14 July 2001

Theme
Cultural Dialogue. Human Rights Education against Racism and for Learning to Coexist

The call to live in harmony with others is a necessary attempt to fight off continuing racist acts whose effects know no boundaries. A rejection of those who are different reveals itself systematically when, for example, it is pervasive in the field of education, particularly in school manuals and, more broadly, in a hidden curriculum. Consequently, learning to live with others becomes a necessity.
