The new Council of Human Rights and the issues of human rights education
Purpose
a) To reflect and discuss on the current state of Human Rights Education;
b) To define the position that Human Rights Education should hold in the international mechanisms for the protection and promotion of human rights;
c) To propose landmarks to the negotiation parties at the new Human Rights Council;
d) To prepare a position paper to be presented at the 4th session of the Human Rights Council in March 2007.
