The training contain 40 hours of course including: round table with simultaneous translation French and English and workshops

Session overview



The Improvement session on human rights education will be held from Monday, 5 July, to Sunday 11 July 2004. The working languages will be French and English. Simultaneous interpretation is assured with the exception of working groups in distinctive linguistic section. There will be some fifty participants.


Participants
This session is designed for teachers, trainers and researchers who have developed activities, innovative projects relating of the the battle against violence.

The working languages for the session are English and French. Simultaneous interpretation is assured with the exception of groups who remain in particular linguistic sections.

Location
Château de Bossey, Céligny

Accommodation and meals *
Accommodation for the entire week costs 1'200.-- Swiss Francs, including lodging in a double or single room, with breakfast, lunch and dinner, from Sunday 4 July evening to Sunday 11 July 2004.

Arrival
If you advise us of your arrival date and time (by airplane or train), we will pick you up at the airport and bring you to the Château.

Insurance
Please take the necessary steps to ensure that your own insurance covers illness or accident while in Geneva, as CIFEDHOP is not able to cover any such cases.

Certificate of Attendance
A certificate of attendance will be given to participants who attend all lectures and who take an active part in the working groups.

ENROLMENT FORM

Financial Aid


Financial grants covering the costs of travel, registration and documentation fees, housing and meals are available for participants from Africa, South America, Asia, Eastern and Central Europe.

Requests for financial aid should be addressed to the Director of CIFEDHOP, accompanied by a completed application form as well as the Experience Sharing Questionnaire and must be received no later than April 30, 2004.

As the number of grants available is limited, priority will be given to those who can fully or partially finance their own travel expenses.

For the distribution of grants, the Financial Aid Committee will take into account candidates’ experience, the theme of the session, methodologies and teaching approaches developed, the preferred means of implementation and evaluation created for their environment.

No financial aid can be attributed upon arrival in Geneva. For participants from North America and Western Europe, it is advised to contact your Ministry of Education and/or organisations or foundations in your country to request financial help. Please contact CIFEDHOP for advice or support.
