Awards and Distinctions

In 1989, CIFEDHOP received the Human Rights award of the French Republic presented by Prime Minister Michel Rocard. Created in 1988, this award is granted annualy on December 10, the anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The award is granted by the National Consultative Committee on Human Rights, which rewards human rights defenders around the world for their field work.
